The Chrysalis Institute is pleased to welcome Rachel Douglas as its executive director. This marks a new chapter in Chrysalis Institute's development, showing growth and evolution in the organization. Douglas was most recently with Nonprofit Learning Point where she held a joint assignment as a faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and in senior leadership at the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence. 

Douglas worked at VCU for over 10 years, where she earned a Master of Social Work degree. She recently submitted her portfolio to earn the Certificate of Achievement in Nonprofit Management from Nonprofit Learning Point.

Offering innovative programs, workshops and practice groups, Chrysalis Institute is a resource and learning center for exploring insights and practices drawn from the world’s spiritual traditions, philosophies and contemporary science. Chrysalis encourages spiritual growth and exploration beyond the conventional boundaries of any one faith.
