Licensed midwife and owner of Embrace Midwifery, Birth & Resource Center, LLC (EMBRC) Corina Hossle and Administrative Director Greg Brown attended a January workshop presented by the American Association of Birth Centers (AABC), the nation’s foremost authority on birth centers. The workshop covered topics such as regulations, assessing readiness of the community, site selection, staffing, marketing, management, quality assurance and evaluation. EMBRC offers water birth and is accepting April babies, with a planned grand opening on May 15.
