Acupuncture Now Available on Southside
Sean Honea, LAc, and his wife Erica Honea, MSOM, have opened the first dedicated community acupuncture practice south of the James River. Southside Community Acupuncture, LLC, is now open at 8730 Stony Point Parkway, Suite 270. First-time treatments are $40 and returning treatments are $25.
Southside Community Acupuncture provides high-quality, affordable, community-supported acupuncture using a group treatment model in order to lower the cost of care, which makes acupuncture more accessible to working people, retirees and students. Patients relax in zero-gravity chairs in the same room together. Similar to a yoga or exercise class, the presence of other patients enhances the effect of a quiet, peaceful healing environment. All patients remain fully clothed because treatments use acupuncture points on the head, arms, legs and feet.
