A New Place For the Soul to Shine
SoulShine Studios, Richmond’s first and only boutique Nia and yoga studio, is opening at 9200 Stony Point Parkway, Suite 111, in the Stony Point Fashion Park. The studio will offer classes, workshops and training. Nia is a mind-body wellness practice integrating elements of the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. The practice is easily adaptable for people of all ages and fitness levels. SoulShine Studios will also offer alignment-based hatha yoga classes for all levels, in addition to yin and restorative yoga.
The studio is a project of the heart for three Richmond women: Jessica Forsythe, Marybeth Grinnan and Niki Schemmel. SoulShine Studios’ mission is to empower individuals and build community through transformative movement and mindfulness practices that nourish and energize body, mind and spirit.
SoulShine will offer 20 to 25 classes per week and features a large lounge where people can socialize and connect in a space where all are welcome to explore, play and discover more about themselves in a judgment-free setting.
