Knockout Basketball Tournament to Promote Mental Health

Rawlings Legacy Foundation from noon to 6 p.m. July 27 at Varina High School, aims to raise awareness about mental health while enjoying a fun game of basketball. This day filled with basketball, food and fun is open to everyone, including friends and family. Teams will compete in a knockout-style tournament and there will be mental health segments to enjoy great music and entertainment by DJ Li’l Lou.
The goal is to raise awareness about mental health and the importance of seeking help when needed. The Foundation wants to create a safe and supportive environment where people can come together and learn more about mental health. They believe that through education and understanding, we can help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
